Anthony Gravin, DPT
Anthony is originally from Carmichael, CA. He grew up participating avidly in athletics, ultimately focusing on football and baseball. He attended CSUS for undergrad, earning his BS in Biology before attending The University of Illinois (UIC) for his Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree. During his coursework at UIC, Anthony became interested in orthopedic manual, “hands-on” physical therapy and clinical concepts of pain. This interest resulted in research opportunities focusing on the changes that occur within the nervous system with chronic pain and how manual therapy and exercise can help to reverse these changes. Following completion of his DPT degree, Anthony worked in an orthopedic setting I utilizing an Applied Functional Science approach to treatment which examines the entire body and kinetic chain for contributions to his patient’s pain. In his free time, Anthony enjoys camping, hiking and anything outdoors.
Sophia, PT Tech
Sophia is originally from Foresthill and is an undergraduate student at William Jessup University. She is currently working on earning her degree in Exercise Science and is looking forward to her goal of becoming a Physical Therapist in the future. As a PT Tech, Sophia finds enrichment in helping patients through their exercises and modalities. She is also a soccer coach and enjoys spending her free time being active.
Kailynn, PT Tech
Kailynn is originally from Lancaster. She recently graduated high school and now attends Sierra College, majoring in Natural Science. One of the things Kailynn enjoys most about her job is the connections she makes with patients while helping them with their warm-ups, exercises, and end modalities. As part of our team, she helps maintain a clean and organized environment in a welcoming, professional setting. When Kailynn is not at work, she loves spending time with her partner, friends, and family.
Cole, PT Tech
Cole is originally from Auburn. He recently graduated from Placer High School and currently attends Sierra College with the goal of attaining his degree in Kinesiology. He enjoys assisting others as a PT Tech, from explaining the techniques to walking through the exercises with patients to ensure the best care for everyone. In his free time, Cole coaches high school football, plays disc golf, and enjoys the outdoors. He is also involved in Boy Scouts of America, and has earned his Eagle Scout award.
Marissa, Front Desk Receptionist
Marissa is the primary contact when it comes to scheduling patient appointments. She is originally from Grass Valley and attended school at both Sierra College and California State University Long Beach where she received her Bachelor's in Art History with an emphasis in Islamic Art. Marissa has a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and makes it her life mission to serve Him and share the love of God with others. She enjoys helping patients with any questions they may have and witnessing their improvement as they near the end of their physical therapy session. In her free time, Marissa likes to try new food with her husband, attend church, visit with family, and study the Bible.
