Matthew Bennion, PT, DPT
Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Orthopaedic Physical Therapy

Matt is originally from Salt Lake City, Utah. He attended the University of Utah where he received his Bachelor's Degree in Music (violin) and a Minor in Spanish. Matt continued on to earn his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Rocky Mountain University in 2014. He has actively pursued continuing his education through completing the year-long Folsom Long Term Course in Orthopedic Manual Therapy (2016), SFMA level 1 (2017), Essentials of Spinal Manipulation (2018), and becoming Board-Certified as a Clinical Specialist in Orthopedic Physical Therapy (2020). Matt enjoys treating a wide variety of orthopedic conditions including post-operative care, spine, extremities, chronic pain, whiplash, balance, and vertigo, with an emphasis on a thorough evaluation and an individualized treatment program for each patient. Utilizing the best available evidence, targeted exercise, hands on techniques, and modalities, he strives to help his patients reach their goals and attain their highest level of function. During his free time, Matt enjoys being active in his church, local music community, running, and spending quality time with his wife and four young children.

Chase

Chase, PT Tech

Chase comes to the Loomis PT Team from Roseville. For most of his life, he has been an athlete, even playing sports during Junior College, but he sustained an injury which took him out of the game. This love of athletics led him to later graduate from Chico State with a Bachelor's Degree in Kinesiology. In his spare time, Chase likes to watch sports and hang out with friends and family. He is excited to help patients with their exercises as they progress in the recovery process.

Mia, PT Tech

Mia, PT Tech

Mia was born and raised in Auburn. She completed her prerequisites at Sierra College, where she earned two Associates' degrees in both Allied Health and Natural Science. At Loomis Physical Therapy, her favorite part of her job is building connections with patients and guiding them through their healing process, one exercise at a time. Mia is passionate about helping others on their journey to recovery. Outside of work, she enjoys volunteering in the radiology department at Kaiser Permanente, camping by the ocean, and exploring new hiking trails.

Brittney

Brittney, Receptionist

Brittney is originally from Sacramento. She graduated from American River College with an AA in Social Sciences and a focus of Human Society and Relationships. She is passionate about intentionally connecting and building relationships with the community around her. In her free time, Brittney enjoys event planning, hiking, camping, serving at church, and spending time with friends.
